Excellent site. There must be many people out there like myself who were never given the opportunity to use our own language (BSL) and have now grown up between two worlds. SSE does it for me - but am I alone??

My daughter has been learning a few pieces of Makaton signed language at her pre-school and she loves it. I am keen for myself and her and her brother to learn more. Is there a DVD and/or books that you can suggest I buy/use?

Hi, I am a teacher of the deaf working in a unit for deaf children, based in a primary school in inner city nottingham. in the next couple of weeks we are holding our annual deaf awareness day. do you have any resources / ideas that could help us make this event a success? any contributions would be most welcome
